As part of our continuing series of wilderness exercises, Matt Lynch will lead an easy hike or snowshoe (depending on conditions) up to the Carbondale Fire Lookout. If there is enough snow, jump at the chance. Anyone can learn to use snowshoes quickly and Pincher SAR has some extra sets. 8-10km with about 500m elevation gain. Last year was a great opportunity to test gear, so make sure you are prepared for rain and snow. View is great from the top! Meet at the Pincher Fire Hall at 09:00. Family, friends and members of other SAR groups welcome!
