PCSAR's financial books were kept using a program called Gnu Cash which is installed on pcsar.dyndns.org and is accesible from any computer with high speed internet using a viewer called VNC. The password is known to RobFrost, PatNeumann and BrettWuth.

One time Gnu Cash version 1.6 locked up where the Accounts window would not open. To solve this I copied the file to pincher-sar-books-2, opened that file, and saved it back to pincher-sar-books.

Tasks

• maintain access to server: PatNeumann, BrettWuth.
• enter transactions: RobFrost.
• BookKeepingSearches
• produce financial statements: FinancialStatementsTask, YearEndFinacialTask
• advise on use of Gnu Cash: BrettWuth
• keep a backup copy of the books: BrettWuth (done automatically to my laptop).
