This is the documentation for the template Template:Error message

Template:Error message/Doc:

The template {{Error message|message|category}} displays the error message (1st argument) as highlighted text.

It is typically used in template definitions, to warn when they are being incorrectly used.

The optional 2nd argument category adds the page to that Category and provides a link to the Category.

Your shoe is untied!
{{error message|Your shoe is untied!|Sample error}}
Your shoe is untied! (similar errors)
