The work that the Training Committee performs, can be broken up into the following major work areas. A committee member should be assigned to take the lead for each area.
- Record description of our training events(task Members:Brett Wuth). (Ali)
- Develop a plan of monthly meeting training subjects(task Members:Brett Wuth). Have schedule always at least 6 months out. (Claus)
- Find an instructor for each monthly meeting's subject. Arrange at least 3 months ahead. Provide the support the instructor needs.
- Find an instructor and schedule grant-funded courses(task Members:Brett Wuth). Arrange several months ahead. Provide the support the instructor needs. Register students. (Brett)
- Complete paperwork after grant-funded courses(task Members:Dick Burnham). (Adam)
- Apply for training grants(task) (Ron)
- Promote upcoming training(task Members:Alieza Cyr) (Ali)
- Determine training available for our members from other organizations(task) (Ali)
- Determine priorities for sending and funding students to outside training
- Identify courses that we should fund ourselves
