First Aid analysis
- We average about 55 members
- Every member should maintain at least standard first aid
- First aid requires recertification every 3 years
- on average each year 18 members need to recertify
- about 30% will receive certification through some other means
- that leaves about 12 members looking for certification through PCSAR
- on average, we get funded for 12 students of WFA every 3 years
- that's the equivalent of 4 students every year
- on average, 8 members need recertification each year on non-funded courses
- a standard first aid course is about $140 (GST included)
- we would budget about $1200 / year to pay for members standard first aid
