This ring is rated to a stout 50kN. It is made of stainless steel and works well for setting up durable rappel stations or lowering stations. Connect to hangers via maillons, chain, and so on, making sure all units are stainless steel to prevent galvanic corrosion. The steel wears longer but is heavier, so for alpine rap stations take along aluminum ones.
