  • (President) Meet with CNP Fire/SAR, CNP RCMP review relationship
  • (Administrator for Treasurer) Call goes to committees, officers, etc. to submit budget requests

April

  • (President, Administrator) Annual review of Administrator's contract
  • (President) SAR Alberta Annual General Meeting

May

  • (Treasurer with Administrator support, Board) board takes initial look at budget for next year

June

  • (all committees, officers as Budget Planners) budget requests received
  • (Treasurer with Administrator support, Board) finalize budget for next financial year

July

August

  • (Administrator for Secretary) renew insurance
  • (Board) Appoints auditors
  • Aug 31: End of financial year

September

  • (Fundraising) 1st week: submit budget to Town and MD
  • (Fundraising with President) Present budget to Town and MD
  • (Administrator for Treasurer) Complete books for the previous financial year
  • (Administrator for Treasurer, possible Technology Committee support) QuickBooks Online 1-year discount will be ending. Determine whether best to renew at full price or use new account to get new discount account by closing books and starting new, or exporting and importing. Do before entering transactions for new fiscal year

  • (Audit Committee, with Administrator, Treasurer support) Complete audit of previous financial year
  • (Training, with Administrator support) SAR Basics course
  • (President; Administrator for Secretary, Treasurer, Audit Committee) Prepare for AGM

  • (President) Meet with CRG, Pincher RCMP review relationship
  • (Administrator for Fundraising) File AGLC annual report
