Position Description

Part of a team of people responsible for setting and executing strategy of the organization.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Contribute ideas for how to execute strategy, and also actually ensure we are meeting our mission statement and objectives.
    • Demonstrating leadership in terms of being examples of how we want our members to act.
    • Use our knowledge and experience to further the best interests of society first, then to the most efficient execution of our mission.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

List what knowledge, skills and abilities are required or desired.


  • Basic teamwork skills to work together with the other Board members
    • good communication
    • being on time
    • showing respect and good leadership qualities

Resources

List what support and aids the person will have in the role.

Resources consist of using professional judgment, common sense, and be willing to work for the benefit of the organization with no recognition
