  • 2 edge lines
    • each about 15m
  • 1 anchor extension
    • not needed for <10m
    • max 20m
    • 3 strand
    • total: 60m
  • pretensioned back-tie
    • greatest span about 4m
    • 3:1
    • total: 12m

PEP RRTM manual recommends:

  • 4 x 60 metre 11 mm low-stretch rescue ropes
  • 11mm low-stretch rope for anchors and edge lines

Getting 1 extra 60m gives some flexibility with our existing two 60m's.

3 x 15m gives both edge and back-tie options.

Might be cheaper to buy 2nd 60m and cut to 4 x 15m or 3 x 20m.

previous pricing $450 for 2x60m. Or net $3.75/m

Available to buy by the foot:

  • none - olive drab ($.90/ft), about 3 years old, but no original paperwork
  • 1 length - 11mm 60m (200ft) - orange ($1.10/ft) - $220
  • 3 lengths - 11mm 15m (50ft) - white ($1.00/ft) $150
  • brokerage $50
  • greyhound shipping - guess $40
  • subtotal: $460
  • GST: $23
  • total: $483
