Description

What is this document used for?

The purpose of PCSAR Doc-94 "PCSAR Resource Summary" is to provide a summary of what PCSAR can do for tasking agencies, SAR groups, and other emergency organizations. It is expected that the resource summary will be placed in various organizations' resource binders for quick reference when they need help.

For this purpose, we want the resource summary

  • To contain the information needed by someone who is dealing with an emergency that is deciding whether it is appropriate to call PCSAR.
  • To be easy to read, and to have the information organized in an easy-to-find manner.
  • To be 2-pages so that it can be printed on a single sheet of paper, front and back, and fit in a binder.
  • To be factual, accurate, honest and straight-forward. We want to avoid any hint of exaggeration that will cause the reader to hesitate.
