Read this first!

Welcome to the mock search. This mock will stress the new command post. Expect to be very busy.

As your very first actions, please make sure of the following. See the sheet Overhead Team for additional details.

1. [ ] A minimum of 4 people are assigned to the overhead team.
2. [ ] Radios are issued to members in the field.
3. [ ] People are only allowed into the firehall or the old command post (bus) to retrieve equipment.
4. [ ] The return to base time is 21:30. All people should be at the fire hall for a critique at that time.
5. [ ] Calls will be coming in to 627-5804 (the call-back number). Make sure it's forwarded to someone on the overhead team.

The objectives of the exercise are:

1. Provide team members an opportunity to maintain their certification
2. Stress test the new mobile command post; determine what is needed to make it workable
3. Practice urban search
4. an unpublished objective which will become clear as the scenario develops
5. Familiarize the RCMP Search Manager with PCSAR techniques and approaches
