Saturday October 8, we have as a Wilderness Exercise, a hike to Grizzly Lake in the South Castle. This is one of Brett's favourite places -- a beautiful mountain lake beside an ancient forest. In fact in some distant year he hopes to have his ashes scattered here. Along the way we'll discuss animal safety. There's a river wading at the start. Then 9 km inward on a steady climb of 2000 feet. Meet at the Pincher Fire Hall at 08:30 or contact Brett <wuth@acm.org> if you want to meet up elsewhere. Back to town early evening. Friends, family and members of other SAR groups welcome.
