Types of Membership

Basically we have two types of active membership:

Associate Members:

  • are given notice of general meetings.
  • are encouraged to attend general meetings.

To be or to remain an Associate Member, an individual must:

  • be 18 years old
  • fill out a personnel form.
  • have participated in the organization at least once (e.g. attended a meeting, training session, or search, or donated time or resources) in the last 12 months.
  • have the current approval of the board.

Voting Members:

  • can vote at general meetings.
  • are eligible to hold office.
  • are given notice of general meetings.
  • are given a monthly reminder call or email of general meetings.
  • are encouraged to attend general meetings.

To be or to remain a Voting Member, an individual must:

  • be 18 years old.
  • have filled out a personnel form.
  • attend at least 2 general meetings in the last 12 months.
  • have the current approval of the board.

If over the period of one (1) year you have not met the requirements of either form of membership, you may become listed as a "Non" member in which case you will no longer be contacted for meetings or searches.
