Discuss CNP Snowmobile Jamboree. Feb 27-28. Eric meeting with them tomorrow. Will discuss RCMP jurisdiction / tasking plan.

Will deploy sled and sat phone in advance. Use as training exercise for deployment and equipment.

Eric will attend. Asked me, as first aid assistance. Light snowmobiling terrain.

      • Ron: almost incident, missing 3 hours, no real details. RCMP called but not us.

Concern about hesitation calling us.

Major snowmobile accident south of Sartoris road. Severe injuries. 2 weeks ago.

Responded to by rescue society, CNP snowmobile team. 45 minutes to get on site. Rescue sleigh behind snowmobile.

No incidents for Brett, MoC for January.

Feb 26-27: rescue sleigh, first aid kit and sat phone at snowmobile jamboree

will do trail sweep picking up stragglers

300-500 snowmobilers.

drag race at staging area, but ambulance can park there, so no involvement from us.

family riders, not fast, slim chance of need of response.

purpose: exposure, practice deploying equipment.

sat phone usage will be charge. Will try to use radio instead.

Scott Howard, RCMP sgt in CNP someone found with heart attack, broken leg. RCMP is not responsible to task. Not in their mandate for medical response.
