Carthew-Alderson High alpine adventure along the Carthew-Alderson Trail. Experience a full cross section of the Border Range in Canada’s southern Rocky Mountains with panoramic views of the “Crown of the Continent”. Climb to the top of this windswept mountain pass to enjoy alpine wildflowers, incredible views and the exhilaration of the alpine.

Hiking time:6-8 hours
Distance: 20 km/12 miles one way
Rating: Intermediate/Difficult
Elevation Gain: 670-1000 m/2100 ft -3300 ft
