Reboot. Had some problems getting proper IP assignment because vmware was giving different MAC. Fixed. This should be unrelated. When reboot succeeds:

Setting up new multifunction photocopier/printer/fax.
Fax self-test okay.
Configure on my network as: http://192.168.23.40
quite a handy interface.
Set fax header "Pincher Search&Rescue" fax number to PCSAR's listed one: 403 627-4332 which is mine. May be a source of confusion if people try faxing back to that number when machine is in the field on another number. But law requires that number be listed.
Could set up for ad-hoc wireless networking. I'm not sure how that would work.
Set to Channel 11, SSID:PCSAR, Ad Hoc 802.11 network. Finds and prints under mac using "Bonjour".
