Because January 1 is New Year's Day, our regular training in January
is postponed a week to be Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Meet at 19:00 at
the fire hall.
This month's training will be on Cold Weather SAR led by Claus Burchert.
We'll be discussing search safety, equipment and clothing choices in conditions of cold and very cold weather. We'll discuss hypothermia prevention, treatment and first aid.
If there's time, we'll discuss the agreement with Castle Mountain Resort.
Training will be all inside, so you don't need to bundle up. But as we're discussing clothing choices, if you have questions about what you have or want to show what you find works very well, bring it along.
