    • Assess rescue terrain
  • math for calculation of load and angles
  • Knots, Bends and Hitches
    • (from BC PEP RRM Chapter 4)
    • Utilize proper knot terminology
    • Demonstrate the following knots and ties:
      • Figure-eight-on-a-bight
      • Figure-eight-follow-through
      • Figure-eight-follow-through bend
      • Inline figure eight
      • Fishermans bend
      • Water or tape bend
      • Prusik hitch
      • Prusik-on-itself
