Join us in a celebration of Search and Rescue Day on Saturday May 7 in a wilderness exercise/hike to the top of Victoria Peak. Fantastic views. We'll take the easiest longest way up (9km), about 3000 feet elevation gain. Along the way we'll discuss some of the bushcraft taught at the recent SAR Alberta training days. You can bring a mountain bike if you like for the initial part of the trip along a road.

Meet at 08:00 at the Pincher Creek Fire Hall, or 08:30 by the gate in Pincher Canyon at the old Shell Field Office. Back by 17:00 (5 pm).

Members of other SAR groups, family and friends most welcome.

Trip Lead: Brett Wuth
