Saturday August 13, we have as a Wilderness Exercise, an exploratory hike to Lightning Peak on the Livingstone Range, south of The Gap. "Exploratory" because we haven't done this hike before so might end up adjusting plans depending on what we find. Along the way we'll practice our skills of terrain analysis and navigation. Trip is described as 20 km, 1034m gain. Meet at the Pincher Fire Hall at 08:00 or contact Brett <wuth@acm.org> if you want to meet up elsewhere. Back to town early evening. Friends, family and members of other SAR groups welcome.
