Prepping for Disaster : Are You and Your Family Ready for the Next Disaster?

Preppers and prepping for disaster are popular on TV and the web. But what are the real, practical steps members of the public can do now to make their families ready for a disaster?

Search and Rescue volunteers are trained, skilled and designated to respond to disasters. When they answer the community's call, they need to know that their loved ones are safe.

Come join us at the Pincher Creek Fire Hall at 19:00 (7pm) Tuesday February 6 for a lively discussion of the disasters we could face in our area, and how you and your family can best be ready for the next one. Free to members of the public and other SAR groups.

Presenter: Brett Wuth led our regional emergency management (disaster) agency (2007-2012) and has worked for the United Nations helping to train international and national disaster responders.
