The Bobby Burns Fish Pond and Recreation Park

This small park is just north of the ball diamonds on the east side of the town. PCSAR has used this site for social events and mock searches. We request permission through the Legion.

Directions: From Highway 3 on Pincher Station, head south on Highway 6. At the round-about head left (east) continuing on Highway 6. After crossing the bridge take the first left (east) on Highway 785 (MacLeod Street). Take the 3rd left (north) at Bighorn Avenue. There are two entrances side by side leaving MacLeod Street at this point. Take either one. The one on the left brings you directly to the park, but has less parking. The one on the right will bring you to the larger parking at the ball diamonds where it's an easy walk into the park.

From "Pincher Creek Walking Tours":

This beautiful and serene area comes complete with a pond, trees, picnic areas and fishing docks. The land was donated by Jeanette & Robert Burns and the park is maintained by volunteers from the Legion with assistance from the Municipal District of Pincher Creek. Fishing is limited to seniors and people with disabilities, but it is also used for weddings, barbeques, picnics and other community gatherings. Truly a peaceful and beautiful place in a busy world!
