2004-02 Brought up during Wilderness First Aid course. There were blue circles in one of the first aid packs, in an unlabelled zip lock bag. Neither the instructor nor the students knew what they were.
Should the contents of the first aid packs be inventoried and labelled?
2004-04-27 MedicalPreplanCommittee recommends
- contents of first aid packs be labelled.
- all members are regularly trained on what is in PCSAR first aid kits.
2004-04-27 PreplanCommittee accepts recommendations.
