The committee discussed developing Terms of Reference for the committee. The points drafted were:

  • all search managers are expected to contribute
  • the committee establishes Standard Operating Procedures for operational activities.
  • it identifies needs for equipment and skills, but does not manage the development of those.
  • the committee has detailed expertise in search and considers issues refered to it from a technical rather than organizational perspective.
