A: The continuity of the handling of the evidence from when it was first found until it is presented in court.

A:

  • Physical evidence - tangible object
  • Incorporeal


Q: Why is documentation so important in a search?

A: Documentation is very important as it can provide a clear sequence of events and help preserve clues and evidence.


Q: What methods/tools are useful when document activities, evidence or clues?

A:

  • notebook, pen or pencil
  • plastic bags
  • photos
  • sketches
  • more than one witness to document the situation
