• 40 hours, 2 weekends
• indoor and outdoor

student challenges

• about 85% of students pass

the rest:

• not able to attend everything
  • will try to accommodate
  • will mean substantial extra work for student
• don't complete the corequisites
• very few students: can't handle material

• environment: cold
  • don't dress for several hours outside

Evaluation:

• continuous by all instructors
• oral and/or written each day
• "monitor"
  • create or answer a question for the question bank
