Pincher SAR has an agreement with STARS whereby they provide our emergency first point of contact for tasking agencies and fellow SAR responders. Every month we provide them with a short First Call List of key contacts in our organization. Calls to our main emergency number (627-2262) are forwarded to the STARS Link Centre. They use our First Call List to activate one of our search managers or call-out people who then take the lead on the response.
