Thank for agreeing to organize the Wilderness First Aid course for the 2013/2014 funding year.

Here are the steps to undertake. Please review your progress regularly with the Training Committee.

  1. review the requirements of the grant
  2. review how the previous Wilderness First Aid was organized
  3. create a provisional budget
  4. contact potential instructors, determine their costs and availability
  5. determine course location, contact venue suppliers
  6. fix a date in discussion with Training Committee about other events
  7. finalize agreements with instructors and venue suppliers
  8. arrange for food
  9. create a course announcement
  10. have course announcement distributed across the province
  11. take registrations
  12. arrange for any needed gophering on the days of the course
