** No longer "disaster, emergencies and searches"

* Groups no longer have to be members of SAR Alberta
* Fax number removed, but still says may fax.
* January 15 submission deadline instead of September 30.
* Avoids explaining process to amend budget or change designated course
* Extensions/changes cannot be made after April 1, used to be May 31
** suggests that courses scheduled for April or May are riskier, in that if last minute changes are needed (e.g. instructor sickness), there is no way to get an extension.
* UTV course dropped 
** might be considered part of ATV
* "Innovative" "Search and Rescue Training" category changed to "specialized"
** may duplicate "Specialized Technical" or relax requirements

Of note (not changes)
* student travel is ineligible
** But form says may be accepted.  We listed $700 last year for SAR Basics, but got only a part of our course total, much less than would be accounted for by this number.
* course may start as soon as Minister signs (Not April 1 as thought).

* add field for date of training to be held
* travel cost removed from course details 
* remove fax from method of submission, but still provide fax number

* review by "Grants Administrator" instead of SAR Liaison Officer
