Tuesday night October 4 is our regular training at 19:00 (7 pm) at the Pincher Fire Hall. We'll go over basic rope skills all SAR responders should have. Friends and members of other SAR groups welcome.

Use example of 2015 SAR Basics mock search. Subject on hill. Needs to be stretchered out. Two ways down. Steep descent through trees then cross swamp. Gentle descent on open slope to trees at bottom.

Choose gentle descent. Light snow cover makes slippery. Need for belay.
