On Saturday February 18, we have a snowshoe up to and around the Akamina
Pass in Waterton. This is an intermediate snowshoe trip. But
snowshoeing is easy to learn and we'll have extra snowshoes if you don't
have any. (Last time up a friend brought a sled for the ride down.)
While we're out, we'll review some avalanche precautions. Friends,
family, and members of other SAR Groups welcome. Meet us at 08:30 at
Pincher Creek Fire Hall. Expect to be back in town late afternoon.
