Thank for agreeing to organize the Wilderness First Aid course for the 2013/2014 funding year.
Here are the steps to undertake. Please review your progress regularly with the Training Committee.
- review the requirements of the grant
- review how the previous Wilderness First Aid was organized
- create a provisional budget
- contact potential instructors, determine their costs and availability
- determine course location, contact venue suppliers
- fix a date in discussion with Training Committee about other events
- finalize agreements with instructors and venue suppliers
- arrange for food
- create a course announcement
- have course announcement distributed across the province
- take registrations
- arrange for any needed gophering on the days of the course
