Most meetings are at the FireHall, but we sometimes meet in the MDMeetingRoom.

Repeating events

Regular meetings are the first Tuesday of every month. The board meets 18:00-19:00; regular members are encouraged to attend. The general membership meeting starts at 19:00 and typically takes about 15 minutes. Non-members are welcome. Regular training starts immediately afterwards and lasts to about 21:30.

The 3rd Tuesday of every month, the PreplanCommittee meets 19:00-21:00 at the FireHall.


August, 2009

August 7 - Social The social is set to be held at the PC Legion on Friday, August 7th starting at 18:00 hrs. You can eat anytime because it is a cook your own deal.Prices for steak range between $10-14 dollars. Please RSVP to Janet at 403-627-7438 Be prepared to choose sirloin, new york or t-bone steaks when you RSVP

September 1 - Evacuation Strategies, use of stretcher, improvising stretcher, etc.

September 12 - Transalta is giving a tour of a couple of their wind turbines at Summerview for PCSAR and Pincher Creek Emergency Services members who are willing to be part of the joint rope rescue team. The tour will allow us to become familiar with the structures, and start discussions of what rescue scenarios might be and consider a joint exercise at the site.
