SAR Fundamentals/After registration
From PCSAR
Here's the information you will need for the first weekend of the course.
Some people are registered without having their individual e-mail address supplied. I am therefore relying on
- ... to pass this information to ...
Registration/deposit fees for the course were due (date) If you have not got your fee in, please contact (name) for a resolution: (contact info).
By the start of the 2nd weekend of the SAR Basics course, the student must have completed separately and show an ICS 100 certificate. This approximately 3 hour course is available from multiple sources, including for free on-line from the Alberta government. Certificates are sometimes delayed, so students that don't already have ICS 100, should take the online course immediately. See http://pcsar.webhop.org/mediawiki/index.php/Training/ICS_100
When you complete the course or if you already have your ICS 100 certification, please e-mail your certificate to me, or bring it to class.
We meet on Friday (date) at 18:00 (6 pm) - 21:30 (9:30 pm) at the (venue). All students are expected to be on time.
The (venue) is at (street address). (driving directions)

Saturday and Sunday are from 09:00 (9 am) to 17:00 (5 pm). Sunday may run late. Lunches are provided.
During the weekend, if you are unable to attend or have problems, text or leave a message on 403-627-7652. Prior or between course weekends e-mail wuth@acm.org or call 403 627-2460.
Bring clothes so that you can be both outside in the weather for up to 4 and a half hours and at other times inside a classroom. The best approach is to use layers that you can put on and take off. Make sure you bring enough to keep yourself warm.
Both the trainers and the students are members of various emergency organizations. Either may be called away to respond to an emergency. For instance, during the 2010 course we were called to an avalanche. If such a situation arises we may suspend portions of this training and reschedule them.
